Saturday evening.

Watching the tour is getting tiring. If I knew how long it was in the AM I would tape it, but the length of the recording is dependent on stage length. I think that I get about 6.5 hours sleep on work days. I am so looking forward to next bid when I don't have to set an alarm clock... :)

I think that watching the tour, coupled with riding is actually the tiring thing. Today I rode to Meadowlilly, then up it, and to Pottersburg hill, up it, then back to Meadowlilly and up it. Called it quits at that point and cycled home. Hills are slower. 53 mins for the 17.3k today. but hills are obviously a harder workout than just coasting on level ground: no opportunity to stop. Unless you just beat feet on the way up of course. Still can't break 54kph going down.

When the tour is over I am sure I will be posting more non bike related stuff. I know that there are some of you out there that couldn't care less about Lance and Co. :) BTW, he is still leading the tour after the stage 12 Individual Time Trial. He came in second, but his overall time has kept him in yellow for another day. I understand that it is a good stage to see this evening... I might post stats later. I don't want to risk seeing who won today's stage.
