TdF
The coverage on OLN is great: tons of hours over the tour. And then they screw up. I was good at avoiding the news and not knowing what was going on in the race today. Watched it from 2230-0000, probably another hour to go... and they the bone heads running the tape machine on the weekend night shift must have put a pizza box on the control panel as they started the telecast all over. Bloody fools! Man that pissed me off. I emailed OLN a short missif indicating my displeasure regarding the situation...
And there was some shuffling of numbers. Richard Virenque won the stage handily and it was rough on USPS with the numbers being shuffled.
General Classification
1 119 VIRENQUE Richard FRA QSD in 29h 10' 39"
2 001 ARMSTRONG Lance USA USP at 02' 37"
3 023 ALDAG Rolf GER TEL at 02' 48"
4 009 RUBIERA José Luis ESP USP at 02' 59"
5 002 HERAS Roberto ESP USP at 03' 03"
6 011 BELOKI Joseba ESP ONE at 03' 09"
7 015 JAKSCHE Jorg GER ONE at 03' 14"

9 131 ULLRICH Jan GER TBI at 03' 15"
10 013 AZEVEDO José POR ONE at 03' 37"
I'd tape the thing, but I have no idea when it ends, but hey, when you know what the outcome is its not the same. Imagine what would happen if a Nascar race or a semi final hockey game on tape delay was looped? feh. Not impressed.
