Tuesday. Should be working.
But its a new shift and my days off are now Mon and Tues. And I am now in the front entrance so its a quicker run to the loo and the exit for when the next apocalypse hits. Had I been there the previous week I would have got industrial air blowers as my companions. Now, I just have AC. I can deal with that.
So the lights out and humid weather put a crimp on my riding. In the last 6 days I have only managed to ride about 45 km or so. Which is less that I was projecting. Still within range of the 300 KM /month goal though and should be able to meet it by the 31st.
Had a coffee with a good friend on Monday. Sadly, a parking ticket was the result of my invite. Stuff happens. One a year ain't that bad though. It was good to catch up. :)
Speaking of catching up, my friends Alicia and Steve had a baby, their second, on the day of the blackout. And my brother and his wife, Nancy, are having their second child. And this was news to me. I called both parties on the day of the black out to check up on them and heard the news. Congrats to all. I wonder how many other babies will be making their appearances in 9 months. After the '65 black out, there were a whole host of the lil' ankle biters.
