3 days off
I took today off which gives me three in a row. Went for a bike ride. Last night it wasn't looking too promising and people were trying to tell me it was going to rain.. whatever. Went on a leisurely ride through old south to Exeter and then down to the bottom end of White Oaks road, eventually up through Lambeth, Byron and back. Completed six laps of Harris park for kicks and came home. I have to say that Power Gels really do make a difference for quick absorbed energy. 60 ish km or so today. As I was heading down Dufferin I realized I had done six laps and not wanted to do a seventh. At the time I crested the sixth hill I thought nothing of it, but perhaps this was an omen about a seventh Tour for Lance? I certainly hope not.
Two complete Summer days off left with nothing but do but enjoy them. Not sure if I will post much.
