Life: I like Sunday Mornings. Even though I have to work on Sundays, it is a time for a coffee I can linger while I catch up on reading. That used to mean newspapers, but I don't read them too often - and now blogs and a sweep through the news sites.
And this morning, despite my posts regarding the clocks going back, I didn't quite trust mine. I never do when the clocks change. But this is how far we have come in a few years. It was not so long ago that I would go and visit my parents and either one or the other of them, perhaps both, would hand over their digital watches and have me figure out how to turn them back an hour. This morning, my watch, two computers, and PVR all reset their own time - and I have never set my watch even from the day I bought it about a year ago in Ohio. I probably still have to adjust the microwave and the alarm clock in my bedroom but I really don't use either of them as time references. come to think of it, I am not sure why I have the alarm clock at all since I work hours that mean I can wake up on my own terms. And without my glasses, it is too far away to see where I have it positioned... But the devices that I use, they set themselves. That's progress as far as I am concerned.
OK. Back to reading. Enjoy your Sunday.
