Drive through Beer Store
misc: I heard on the CBC yesterday that The Beer Store will be having it's first ever drive through location here in London sometime later this spring or summer. For those of you not from Ontario, the province controls alcohol sales and they are through outlets call The Beer Store and the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario). While the convenience of going to your corner store or Meijers or WalMart to buy beer isn't there, they are cleaner and the LCBO stores are better designed and brighter and safer looking than those you see in the US. Can you imagine someone robbing an LCBO? It isn't as likely as an out of the way dingy mom n pop liquor store. When I know where the beer store is going to be, I will let you know.

Even though i cannot drink for a while I will use it just to say I can.... I mean Chris still needs beer right :)
The Beer Store on Wharncliffe Rd already had a drive through, but it was a few years back. I tried googling it but can't seem to find the year. It lasted one summer if I remember correctly.
The Beer Store location at Wharncliffe Rd. will again be the site of the new drive through. Please note that this drive through will only be for purchasing beer and not returning empties.
