Vacation planning life: After errands and meeting Mor at All Seasons - a pretty good bike store here in London - I did the pile of laundry and watched an excellent episode of Enterprise. As an aside, every episode I see makes me angrier that the series is being cancelled. It has really come into it's own. And A Mirror Darkly was top notch.
I spent the balance of the evening sorting out where I am going to go on vacation on at the end of May. It started out with a simple link in the current CAA travel mag, and all of a sudden I think I have settled on the Maritimes and West coast of Newfoundland.
I think I probably won't find a WiFi spot anywhere, so going cold turkey will be tough, but from what I have seen and read to this point it should be pretty spectacular. I might get a Trip Tick done by CAA in the next couple of weeks to see a proper route instead of some 2x2 inch maps on the computer screen. I have the general idea, and some specific points of interest, but little else till I get to Newfoundland. Anyone ever been there before?
Carpe Diem

Chris said yes to the GPS so I will get that to you soon so that you can plan out your trip with it. You will find WIFI in almost all major truck stops!
That's cool. If I go NFLD ways I might need it. :)
And I of course forget about the truck stops. thx.
