Roofers2 life: so it's day two of the roofers. They get here at 815 am, crash and bang around till 930 and then all leave for coffee and do nothing for at least half an hour. My vote is for showing up at 845am and actually working. I am glad I am not paying for these clowns. And. And he said, after getting the assurance that there would be no roofing nails in the driveway - "they sweep the driveway with a big magnet and pick them up" I was told - I found a nice shiny new one. Not sure if it was there last night or not. Two nites now with about 4 to 5 hours sleep a piece - and not even any sex to show for it. :)
I did go out to the Flying J and have breakfast at about 1230am this morning though after watching the intense CSI directed by Quintin Tarantino. And Kelly gave me the knit alpaca winter hat she made for me in Windsor. She says that despite it being thin, alpaca is quite warm and should do me nicely in Newfoundland if I go and check out the icebergs and such.
It now getting quite loud in a can't think to type and blog and such. Damnit all to Hell! Blaaast! <-- insert Stewie voice here.
Carpe Diem
