This is what Microsoft Streets and Trips map looks like on a zoomed out scale. St. Anthony NL all the way back to London. I emailed this image right from the program.
The yellow markers are somewhat arbritrary based on Gas Stations and such. Planned overnight stops on way back in Blanc Sablon NL (Ferry from Labrador), Port Aux Basques NL (Taking the day ferry to Nova scotia which is about 7 hours), Truro NS, Cambleton NB, Drummondville PQ, then straight on till London.
If the traffic in Montreal and Toronto is not too bad, the last leg should be about 9 hours. Getting back on Thursday June 9th in the late evening. But since I don?t have to be back at work till Sunday morning, I have some flexibility.
Driving distance: 3601.8 kilometers Trip duration: 5 days, 7 hours, 49 minutes (based on the program parameters I was messing with. Driving time: 41 hours, 8 minutes ** And that's one way!
Let's see. If I did one picture every say three or four km as an average... :)
Carpe Diem
