tour watching goes on. cycling: Watching Stage 9 of the Tour. Lots of crashes so far and the other American who was wearing the Yellow, David Zabriski, dropped out this morning. He had crashed on the TTT and I think was depressed as much as injured and it was finally catching up to him. Yesterday. first hint of the mountains. And Team Discovery let down Lance when T Mobile attacked. Lance was all alone to defend against about 1/2 dozen attackers. No change in the yellow, but Lance did say there were going to to be interesting discussions around the dinner table.
Today is the real first mountain stages with one Mon Ballon being a nice 21km climb up to over 4500feet. The third of four climbs in this 200km ride.
I posted some pics of SunFest and other stuff over the last couple of days on flickr. Can't promise the posting will be fast and furious, but since I am sitting here for at least another 90 mins tour watching, lets see what I can find for you...
Carpe Diem
