Football.
photos: I sot quite a few pics at the game on Saturday (sorry it it Tuesday now...) and I posted 20 or so of them. It was quite cold. In fact it was raining/drizzling for the second and third quarters of the game at TD Waterhouse and I had to keep my camera dry by wiping it down. (someone want to track down a fabric/plastic camera cover I could use that would be awesome!) Fingers were getting a little numb too. But I got some good close ups of the sidelines, quite a few plays and a sfew of the cheerleaders. I decided to put a couple of the cheerleaders into Black and White as I prefer that for portraits and was quite pleased by the effort. One of them was the great shot to the left where the cheerleader on the right was at the same time in a strong pose raised high up by the spotter and yet her muscles were not straining. I can't find the right word, but it was a very sensuous ballet like shot I think.

In another, I was almost plowed over by two players. A Gael was trying to force Mustang ball carrier Donnovan Bennett off the field and this happened within a short distance of me. Donnovan went past me one way and the Gael close by on the other side and right off the field. Situational awareness is important. I recall reading that on one of the sites discussing how to shoot football games. I wouldn't stand a chance if one of them hit me!

My shortened work week has flown by and it is my Friday already and I have lots too do, so I am outta here.

Carpe Diem
