Spyware pervasiveness caused by users?
computer trends: According to this Internet Week article, the sheer number of spyware instances affecting consumers is caused by the consumers themselves being lazy and not taking care of business with their machines.
"The people who call Dell Inc.'s customer service line often have no idea why their computers are running so slow..." is how a companion piece by AP also in internet Week starts. Yep. Heard that somewhere before.
Christmas commercials.
life: Saw the first one on a Kitchener station. Two months of them to go. And come on, it's too early to start the xmas stuff... It's raining. There are still some leaves on the trees. There is no snow. Wait till December first. I'm not being a Scrooge - well, maybe a bit, but I just don't need the hype in my face for the next sixty some odd days. Then 'Boxing! Boxing, Boxing Weeeeek Sales!' which starts before Christmas for some retailers who own cheap calendars.. Ugh....
What I need is the vacation. Nine days and I will be on my way to Cali. Can't wait.
Carpe Diem
