Slept in and its rainy
life: So it is my weekend today and I had intended to do some riding. I had willed the rain gods to bugger off and stay out of town but everything is wet outside and overcast. It isn't raining at the moment, and there is a pleasant breeze coming through the window that has hints of spring in it despite it only being 8C outside. But the idea of riding wet for a couple of hours - especially wet feet from puddle splash and road spray - does nothing for me. And I have no cream for the coffee so getting in gear is going to mean going to Timmy's. I did read for a couple of hours before going to sleep last night and Steph is right. Order of the Phoenix is pretty dark. But quite good.

The West Wing season ending episode was last night. Interesting twist at the end there with Santos's VP choice at the Dem convention. CNN had a really long article yesterday on the episode - without spoilers. and if you didn't know American politics and someone cut and pasted a section of it you would wonder if you are reading fact or fiction. Should be an interesting season next fall. Perhaps the last one for the show if they can't pull it off. But there are a lot of road km for me and repeats between now and then. and who know I might find my Season 2 DVDs of West Wing that have dissappeared. :)
