Tour Begins!
cyclism: The Tour De France begins today. Got the PVR set, and I am going to 'earn' the right to watch it by getting back into some serious cycling. 3540km around France in three weeks is the distance this year.
I want to ratchet up my riding like the last two years. Last July I did 720km (something close to that). I think 20 percent of the tour distance in this month or there abouts 'could' be done. The humidity was a biatch in June. July 1st, was the first day that I could say I had a comfortable ride since April. Did about 55km on all three segments of the bike path with Mor. Stopping in Byron at the Milagro cafe for a coffee. If I had a bigger breakfast I would have had more juice at the end. If I get good solid weather and get my ass out of bed in the morning and start to eat properly again...
Yes, it's July, and Mike is going to be obsessing over cycling again...
